Reach out to A FEW trusted family members and/or friends and form a committee of people that can assist you when a loved one passes away by running errands, making and taking phone calls for you, writing down the names & contact information of people who love & support you, helping with the funeral program, etc.

This committee is there to help you break away from everyone so you can grieve the way you need to, and your insurance agent can handle the financial responsibilities of planning the homegoing service.
